⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Main Plot: The film is about Victor, a young man who accidentally proposes to Emily, a corpse bride, while practicing his vows in the woods. This leads him to the Land of the Dead, where he embarks on an adventure while trying to return to Victoria, his true love.
Main Characters:
Victor Van Dort
Emily
Victoria Everglot
What I liked: I really liked the part where Emily says, "I love you, Victor, but you're not mine," because it shows that even though she loves him, she decides to let him go so he can be happy. That scene is very moving and shows the true meaning of love.
What I didn't like: I didn't like that Emily had to suffer so much before finding peace, because her story was very sad and she deserved a happy ending from the beginning.
The message of the film Corpse Bride:
The film conveys the message that true love means letting someone go so they can be happy, even if it hurts. It also teaches us to value life, learn to forgive, and find closure, because only then can we find peace and move forward. Emily demonstrates that loving also means considering the other person's happiness.
